  2. Such interesting photos! The hills do look dry, I suppose in spring they are very green.
    The succulents look incredibly pretty and cute. :)
    Two years ago I had gazanias. The summer wasn't the coldest and cloudiest possible, but the gazanias didn't seem to enjoy it very much. Their blooms opened very seldom!
    Another native to (Southern) Africa, Osteospermum, however, gave us much joy this summer, in bloom throughout the summer into autumn. It's lovely to see them every now and then in your photos! :)

    1. yes, the hills are dry- usually it would be much greener... Osteopernum are wonderful, hardy plants! we have loads in the garden but even they are struggling in this heat. Gazanias LOVE sun! in winter their blooms are usually shut. thank you so much for your kind words! have a beautiful day!

    The long dry spell is always a concern for gardeners but your plants seem to be coping with the conditions.
