Chaka's Rock Tidal Pools

{Chaka's Rock Tidal Pools is a very special place... with some of the most shallow-growing corals in the world... one can see a myriad of sealife by just snorkelling in the shallow water... and Salt Café is just a few steps from the beach... they have wonderful coffee and delicious pizza!}

  1. looks nice and interesting!

    Here in Finland the seawater is usually very dark, and it is not easy to see fishes or sea plants.

  3. So beautiful.....for one brief moment, I felt I was there...........the water is so clear. I do so love the creature popping out of the water checking you out.

  5. Growing up in a very land locked area, I have always been fascinated by the sea. I have been to the seaside a few times, but I always thought tidal pools would be the coolest place for my kids to explore. Once in California, a friend's daughter showed us a live starfish and it was the weirdest experience. I see them in books all the time, but that sudden sensation you get...WOW they are REAL (even though you in actual fact know this)...it's quite an experience. Your photos are beautiful and I would love to share a cup of coffee with you!!

  7. Good morning!:) Your pictures make me want to explore this coast line and look in the pools, and on the sea bed. Thank you for calling by, and your good wishes. I'm having to take a break for health reasons, but I'll be back as soon as I can, for another visit here, :)
