  1. A beautiful flower, an even more beautiful and curious looking spider and a desperate bee ... that is quite a story and yet, do we know how it ends? And what do we wish for a last minute escape so the bee survives or a tasty lunch for Mrs. Spider ... hmmm. This is a mind tickler ... wonderfully done, Jandi :)

  8. The colors are beautiful, the crab spiders here don't have decorative designs. The next to last photo I can see a smiling face on her abdomen. Then there is a tiny spider in the last photo, I presume the one saying, "What's for lunch." Cute.

    1. hi there Hannah, apparently there are 38 different types of crab spiders in south Africa. this one is a pink spotted crab spider. they are harmless to humans... but not to the little insects they ambush- usually on flowers...
