African Harrier-Hawk (Gymnogene)

{there was great excitement in our neighbourhood when a large bird of prey made an appearance... he stayed around the whole day... taking a liking to our neighbour's garden where he tried to get into the owl box, weaver's nest and even spent some time in the bird bath...}

{using his double-jointed legs to look for food...}

  6. I love birds of prey and this one is a beauty. Hard to believe that it is attracted to a domestic bird bath. Nicely captured.
