Fun Reads

These are all library books which have recently captured our attention:

God's Dream by Desmond Tutu is a beautiful book teaching morals. Gemma loved requesting this book and then reading it to herself afterwards.

The Trouble With Dragons is actually for older children but it is a good book to start instilling awareness about looking after our environment. Both girls loved reading this book!

Three Friends and a Taxi is a wonderful book with captivating pictures. This is one of Jamie's favourites at the moment and I might add it to our library soon.

Cat and Canary the first two pages are rather tedious but thereafter one gets swept up in a wonderful adventure!

One Night in the Zoo is a beautifully illustrated book full of whimsy whilst teaching numeracy. We would also love to add this to our bookshelf.

Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See? is a lovely, fun book to read. Both Gemma and Jamie started asking similar rhyming questions for a while!~

Quick as a Cricket is a fun, easy-to-read book. I really enjoyed reading this books. Jamie loved looking at the illustrations.

Molly's Jolly Brolly, fun, vibrant pictures and exciting rhymes- what more could one want?

Happy reading!

Rain Dance

{pure joy & exuberance: may you both always be able to dance in the rain like this; spontaneously, without prompting, may you seize every moment with gusto!}

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Quotes & A Determined Weaver Bird

We have a weaver bird in our garden- he must working on his 16th nest since October last year. He builds 2 nests at a time & then breaks them down again after his mate has disapproved once again...
